I created this advertisement for a local business magazine. Our message was while we worked with everyone all over the nation, we are here in your backyard. I utilized "The Bean" in Chicago that shows the reflection of the city.
I started illustrating Horror Hosts in Power Puff Style. In order of appearance are:
I was called upon to create a die-cut folder in the shape of a piggy bank that would be used as a mailer. Inside the folder were charts to advertise to potential financial institutions of our creative services.
I created a Food and Beverage Folder to hold our Drink Chart/Pear Wheel. I fashinoned it out of a Martini while using the die-cuts for the olives to let the inside color of the folder to show through.
One of our salespeople at ASC/PG does a yearly Chinese Calendar for promotional use. Since I already had cartoons of a cheerful monkey that I created I was asked to use him on the 2016 pop-up. The pop-up folds flat then "pops" from the envelope into a 3-dimensional piece.
I was asked to create a Gingerbread Pop-Up House as a Holiday Greeting for our Company. It came flat then expanded when pulled from it's envelope. We printed inside the house where you could see Santa enjoying a beverage after delivering toys.
PrintTek partnered with us to create an "exploding" mailer that promoted OB Hospitalists' website and services. See it in action below.
I've always loved the old Universal Horror films so I created this for myself. I later utilized this artwork for a pop-up pyramid that was later featured on MeTv's syndicated show Svengoolie. (Thanks Christopher Hamby for posting the video!)
I did this portrait of my niece using Adobe Illustrator Draw on a Kindle Fire.
I was tasked to create Pop-Ups with the images of potential Presidential Candidates for a tradeshow. We created multiple Pop-Ups and ran a voting system during the show. People were invited to our booth to pick up their favorite candidate which we then wrote on a tote board. At the end of the tradeshow we tallied up who won in our mock election. This ended up being one of our most popuplar campaigns!
I created these portraits of Horror Movie Actors Robert Englund and Bruce Campbell. Everyone draws them as the monsters/heros as they portray, I wanted to illustrate them as the people they are.
I produced these Pop-up Calendars for work. Each one of these calendars sold more than other designs for noted years.
Below is an example of our 3-dimensional Pop-Ups in action!
I drew this using Adobe Illustrator with photo reference. I drew Teller on purpose with a smirk. Years ago I had told him I had to smile in pictures because my Mother thought I looked like I was smirking. Teller responded "I have made a living out of smirking!"
